ANTI-RAGGING AND ANTI-RAGGING SQUAD COMMITTEE

In conformity with Supreme Court judgment and directions, UGC guidelines and State Government directives, Disha College has established Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad to create a comfortable environment for all the students and nurture an environment that is in accordance with the mission of our College by maintaining decorum, dignity and harmony within the campus.

• To maintain discipline in the campus.
• To achieve the goal of creating a safe, motivating and accepting environment by supporting the use of positive attitudes and
• To keep a continuous watch and vigil over ragging so as to prevent its occurrence and recurrence.
• To generate an atmosphere of discipline by sending a clear message that no act of ragging hall be tolerated and any act of ragging shall not go unnoticed and unpunished.

Function and Responsibilities of Anti-Ragging Committee

Anti-Ragging Committee The duty of Anti-Ragging Committee is 

1. To ensure compliance with the UGC regulations and provisions of any law in force concerning ragging.
2. To monitor and oversee the performance of the Anti -Ragging Squad in prevention of ragging in the institution.
3. Apart from this, the students are closely monitored by the teaching and non- teaching faculty in the campus.
4. These rigorous practices ensure absolute absence of ragging and no case in recorded.

Anti- Ragging Squad 

1. To make surprise inspection of campus and other places vulnerable of these incidents.
2. To take any measure well in preventing /quelling, ragging.
3. To ensure the communication of punishment if involved in ragging.
4. To display the anti-ragging posters at all prominent places in the campus.
5. To take legal action as per the law.
